Can it handle job work for multiple customers?
Yes. Jobs are tracked per customer with their own rates, material accounting and delivery commitments, including material supplied by the customer.
Does it track customer-supplied material separately?
Yes. Material received against a customer's account is tracked separately from your own stock, which matters both for reconciliation and for GST treatment.
Can the shop floor use it, or is it only for the office?
Both. Screens for the shop floor are kept deliberately simple — job status updates and material entries — while the office gets the full reporting.
Can it tell us whether a job was profitable?
Yes. Material, machine time and labour are rolled up per job, so job costing is a report rather than a guess.
